Vania started working at DREAM during the first month the company was launched in March of 2014, without speaking English and not knowing computer systems. Mariana gave her a big challenge and an opportunity to learn and grow into the person she has become today.
Upon working together, Mariana discovered in Vania talents she didn't even know she had at the time. Most of her life, her main focus was raising her children. When she came to the US, she became a cook at Brazilian Grill and had a cleaning business on the side. Today Mariana speaks proudly of how opening a door to Vania opened a door to a business model she may not have unlocked without the inspiration she received from Vania and her talents. Mariana discovered Vania had an eye for staging, creating beautiful gifts for her clients, gift baskets we hand out to each client at closing, and much more including the love she puts into our monthly mailing to our clients and referral partners & how well she follows up to keep our clients close to us and always knowing we are here for whatever they need.
Along with her cleaning background, she quickly became Mariana's go to girl to attend to the details most miss! Mariana created her position designed in perfect alignment with what she loves to do and assign tasks to her that challenges Vania to grow each and every day. “I love my job because I can let my imagination fly. I get to know new people & help them make their dream come true, just like mine.”
Vania’s job is to go to the house before we list it for sale and see what she can do to make it more beautiful and help create vision for the new buyer. She communicates with the owners on what process we will encounter in order to reach the results they seek. On the next visit, after establishing the needs for each given property, she takes the necessary objects and furniture to give a new look to the house, making it standout from the competition. Vania has been nicknamed “Wonder Woman” of the DREAM, because she is here to be the bridge between what needs to be done and getting it done. Part of her job also includes installing and updating the signs, lockboxes, preparing the home books and leaving the house clean and organized for the next buyer. “I believe in my dream and I encourage others every day to believe in their dreams and how they too can become a reality.”
